I am writing to report to you that our letter to King Mohamed VI was successfully delivered to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Washington, D.C. on February 27th, the anniversary of the founding of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.
Thank you to all those who joined this appeal calling for the end of Morocco's illegal occupation of Western Sahara. The final letter including all signatories that was delivered this week can be found here for your reference. We deeply appreciate all those joining us in this letter.
I also want to thank and recognize Iza Mirza, Policy Advisor at Foley Hoag who drafted this excellent appeal and Michael Beer of Nonviolent International and his outstanding interns -- Iza, Michael and I went together to the Embassy for the delivery. Only because of their help was our mission successfully accomplished.
Nonviolent International posted this short video here on the letter delivery.
The APS Story appears here.
For a Free Western Sahara,
Suzanne
